Snapseed, a popular image manipulation tool for Android and iOS, has added a feature to turn any image into an HDR image. I did some tests, and here are my results.

Instagram Video and the Death of Fantasy
Despite the claims made by Mark Zuckerberg and Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom, Instagram isn’t capturing the memories of your life - it’s a fantasy highlight reel.
Demonizing Edward Snowden: Which Side Are You On?
This author asserts that coverage of the Edward Snowden situation isn’t journalism but sensationalism and bandwagon jumping. Something tells me Jeff Jarvis would agree.

Meet the newest addition to my automotive family: Gisela, a 2003 BMW 330i ZHP. She’s Imola Red (Imolarot 2 to be specific) with black leather interior. I’ve had her for about a month, and I’m in love.
Gisela is my third BMW. My first was Erika, a 1992 325is in Brilliantrot, and my second was Natalia, a black 2001 330ci. This is the first 4 door BMW I’ve owned, and I’m really enjoying the convenience of having the rear doors.
It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of the Z4 coupe, specifically the Z4M Coupe. It’s one of my all-time favorite cars, both in performance and - perhaps most notably - styling. So when BMW unveiled the Zagato Coupe yesterday at Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, it was love at first sight. They’ve managed to take all of my favorite design elements of the Z4M Coupe, combine them with some modern BMW design language, and add a little retro flare to create one of the most stunning sports coupes I’ve ever seen.
After the bulb sockets in my car’s corner lights and the turn signal socket in one of my tail lights went bad, I decided it was time to replace a number of the exterior lights on her. I replaced everything except the headlights, which are the OEM units from the factory (I really like the OEM HIDs, so I see no need to swap them out).
The first thing I replaced was my corner lights.
So here we are at the conclusion of a months-long journey in pursuit of the Ultimate Blogger position, and despite lots of effort and tons of support, it didn’t work out. While I’m certainly disappointed (who wouldn’t be?) it’s not the end of the world, and I have other things to pursue and will continue building my own products and brands.
I continue to be grateful to and flattered by the massive outpouring of support and voting during the course of the contest, and I hope that everyone who helped me try to achieve this goal understands how much I appreciate their efforts.
Last night Natalia hit a major milestone: 200,000 miles! This makes the 3rd car I’ve had to hit this point. Not everyone is a fan of seeing these sorts of things on their cars, but I consider it a point of pride that my car has gone this far and is still running like a champ.
Who else has had their car reach 200k miles (or even higher)?
Just moments ago I completed and uploaded my video for the Endras BMW Ultimate Blogger contest. I think it turned out very well, and is an accurate representation of who I am.
Here are the key points for this round:
The voting starts Monday, April 4 at 10:00AM Eastern Voting ends April 22 at 11:59PM Eastern You can vote for me once a day at the usual place, cconover.
Just mere minutes ago the voting for the first round has ended, and I wrapped up in 4th. Since the top 20 move on to Round 2, it’s a pretty excellent spot to be. Now comes the scramble: I have 48 hours from now to produce and post a video demonstrating why I’m the right man for the job.
Once the video is posted I’ll need to get votes, just like we’ve been doing for the past few weeks, to get into the top 10 for round 2.
